Petit Social Studio
Petit Social Studio fills the ground floor of the historic Central Hotel building, right on the Delaware City waterfront. It is the work of Nikki, a wedding planner and designer turned venue owner, a mom of two who built the space around kindness and her motto of "community over competition." Bright walls, soft natural light, a covered front porch, and Delaware’s largest in-house collection of furniture and props make it equal parts photo studio and intimate gathering space. As Nikki puts it, it is "a space to curate, collaborate, and create." It shares the historic Central Hotel building with Honey Salon, where I rent my own studio, so we are quite literally neighbors under one roof.
Why I love working with them. Petit Social is right inside the same historic Central Hotel building as my studio at Honey Salon, so we genuinely share one beautiful old roof on the Delaware City waterfront. The light pouring in off the water is some of the prettiest I have worked in, and Nikki’s eye for styling means a bride is photo-ready the moment she walks in. When a client wants getting-ready or bridal content that actually looks like a magazine, this is where I send them.

I can do your wedding-morning glam steps away, which makes an intimate Delaware City wedding genuinely effortless.

It is one of my favorite spots for it. The natural light, styled sets, and in-house props make for beautiful getting-ready, bridal, and engagement content with very little setup.
